Cast Aluminum Mailboxes

Question: I am looking for a door latch assembly for an ornate cast aluminum (painted black) mailbox. The part I am seeking is attached by 2 screews at the top of the front opening and the door has a pointed part that goes into the latch inside the top of the opening. It has 2 spring-loaded rollers that hold the lid in place when closed.
Answer: All mailbox parts are manufacturer specific and therefore we will need to know the manufacturer of the box you have. There should be some identifying markers on the box. If it is an Amco mailbox, we can get parts for it.

Question: I'm interested in buying a Victorian Pedestal Locking Mailbox. Is there an outgoing mail slot?
Answer: The Victorian Pedestal Locking Mailbox does not come with an outgoing mail slot. Thank you.

Question: I need to replace the bracket under my cast iron mailbox because someone hit it and broke it. Can I buy just that part?
Answer: We can offer the replacement bracket for the Amco and Imperial Mailbox packages. You will need to verify the manufacturer of the one you have or send us an image of the item to laci@weblifestores.com.

Question: can I buy just the post for the barcelona curbside box?
Answer: Unfortunately, that mailbox package comes as a set with everything included. I have linked an Imperial Post for you below which is similar to the Barcelona Post. If you need the post to be surface mounted you can choose the surface mount option as well. I have linked both for you below.

Question: Can you sell me a replacement aluminum door for my aluminum mailbox? I can email photos of my mailbox & door. There is no mfg. info. available. Please advise ASAP. Thanks Steve Mohr

Question: Do you make replacement doors?
Answer: We are a dealer for different mailbox manufacturers and the parts that we sell are specific to them.

Question: I am looking for a mailbox that has an indicator showing that the mail has been delivered. Do you have these?
Answer: We carry a few boxes that have the plexiglass window or the option to add this, so that you can see if mail has been received.

Question: What do people commonly do, to allow for outgoing mail, if they have a Victorian pedestal locking mailbox?
Answer: A thumb latch can replace the lock and arrangement can be made for the mail carrier to check the inside of the box however most use a local USPS drop box to deposit outgoing mail.

Question: I want the Amco New Orleans in black. I don't see how to order anything other than the desert bronze.
Answer: Amco has recently discontinued the Black New Orleans Mailbox Package.

Question: I'm looking for door latch lock assembly and the swing door for the mail to be put through.
