Full of some of our most popular and favorite mailboxes. Some
of our customers prefer to have it mailed to them, some like to
download and look at it right away. You decide what works best for
If you are on the lookout for a commercial mailbox, then you have come to the right place. BudgetMailboxes is proud to be a leading provider of commercial mailboxes for both United States Postal Service (USPS) delivery and private delivery.
USPS Delivery - If the USPS will deliver your mail, then you should choose from our wide selection of USPS access mailboxes. When you purchase a commercial mailbox for USPS delivery, your local postmaster will install their specialized arrow lock to the master front-loading door. This allows a USPS employee access to the entire mailbox for quick delivery. Commercial mailboxes for private distribution can be used if a non-USPS employee will be delivering your mail. Private access mailboxes will include factory-installed master commercial locks (if applicable). Like the arrow lock mentioned above, this also allows access to the unit via one master door.
Private Delivery - Choose from this group of products when a PRIVATE individual (non-USPS employee) will be delivering the mail. Your order will include a factory installed master commercial lock (when applicable) that allows access to the unit through one master door. Note: keys are shipped inside the commercial mailbox and are usually taped securely inside one of the parcel lockers. See how to locate your commercial mailbox keys for more details.
Installing Your Commercial Mailbox
We recommend pedestal-mounted cluster mailboxes for up to 16 tenants as these can easily be installed in concrete. This type of installation is also ideal for outdoor setups. See our installation overview page for more details. Wall-mounted commercial mailboxes, on the other hand, can accommodate more tenants. If your property does not have enough wall space and depth for recessed wall mount mailboxes, you may opt for surface-mounted commercial mailboxes instead. Another option is to utilize the 4C mailboxes and configure them with postal kiosks to make convenient outdoor mail centers.
Tenant Doors and Parcel Lockers
Determining the number of tenant doors you will need is one of the most important factors when looking for the ideal commercial mailbox. Finding out the right number of doors or compartments will also allow you to estimate how much space you will need for your installation.
Custom Numbering or Lettering
Custom lettering and/or custom numbering options are available when you order your commercial mailbox from BudgetMailboxes. Address tags and custom engraving are also available options. Most of the commercial mailboxes we sell allow you to personalize the number of compartments and door configurations according to your specific requirements.
The Standard USPS-STD-4C
The new USPS-STD-4C standard incorporates either fully integrated or stand-alone parcel lockers with flatter compartments than the traditional cube-shaped compartments of the previous decade. Commercial mailboxes with flat compartments are more secure and are better suited to protect your mail from the elements. At least one parcel locker is required for every ten tenant doors. Mailboxes with less than ten compartments do not require a parcel locker.
BudgetMailboxes offers 4C standard and high-security horizontal mailboxes with fully integrated or stand-alone parcel lockers, all of which are USPS approved and eligible for installation in new construction projects and major renovations effective October 2006 as required by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
The Standard USPS-STD-4B+
With the USPS-STD-4B+ standard, the USPS has met the demand for enhanced mailbox security. This standard requires mailbox manufacturers to improve and strengthen the master door (arrow lock compartment) on horizontal residential apartment mailboxes (3600 series) and vertical residential apartment mailboxes (3500 series). We offer USPS-approved 3500 and 3600 mailboxes that fully comply with all USPS-STD-4B+ requirements. 4B+ vertical and horizontal mailboxes are eligible for retrofit and/or replacement installations effective October 2006. We strongly encourage you to consult your local post office before purchasing or installing an STD-4B+ mailbox at your location.
